I just got this as a present from my employer since I just purchased a SIH yanagi for work. I can't seem to find much information on this stone at all. Does anyone here know anything about it? Soak or splash and go etc? Thanks in advance.

Never heard of it, but at least it shouldn't rust. :)

I have seen Suisin stones before but I do not have any substantial information to provide. You might have a better chance asking Jon (Broida).

Based on my limited experience - won't it bubble aggressively if you dunk it in water and it is a soaker? not so much if it's a splash and go - or am i totally wrong here.
my hunch is it's a soaker.

soaking stone... pretty solid all in all... has tactile feel similar to a bester of similar grit

Thank you guys so much for the help. I'll give it a go later tonight to see how it stacks up to my 1k chosera pro.
