I don't think it will last through the night...looks like it's been well maintained other than cosmetically.

Could be fun. Remove the handle. Clean her up. Rehandle it with your classic style(maybe try something new for the added challange), sharpen her and pour a glass of malt. Could easily be a long weekend project. I think it would be awesome if you could go blood root blades style and refurbise materials for this blade. Trying to keep around the same time period as the blade. Anyways buy her and do that thing you do.
