Sous Vide VacMaster Dou 550 experience?

Any have any experience with this model? Curious . Looks like smaller chamber, but includes an external sealer, with same motor as the 112

At that price point.....why even consider this over the VP-112?

thought external sealer might be an advantage for large items if it had the same power. Smaller footprint. In stock.

Prices are within 10 bucks on Vac Sealers Unlimited. Chamber looks smaller but they say it has a 12" bar. If it will hold a 12 x 14 bag then chamber is same size. The bags for a chamber vac and for a strip sealer are not normally interchangeable so you might have to have 2 types of bags on hand???

I would be hesitant if performance level of VP112 was not met but you may be on to something Mike. Expecting a report.
