Not sure of handle type, almost new condition as I had 2 at the same time . Used mostly in a home environment. Will post pics when I get home tonight or through email email. $550usd plus shipping.

yo = Western

wa = Japanese (traditional?)

Apologies for thread clutter. I am sure this has flown by now anyway.
 
Western = yo handle , Japanese = wa handle , nothing missed. Just a little I for for ya for the future. Second in line jpizzle.

A review sounds like a good idea. I'll use both knives in a high volume professional kitchen for a while and see how they compare.
