Ok. here's a new attempt for a more legible layout.

A few knives for sale or trade. All the knives were (rarely) used in a private kitchen only and are in mint condition. I’m located in the EU, but will ship internationally.

As for trades: I’d like to try a 210 Deba, a 275-300 Takobiki or 240-270 gyutos from certain makers, yet unknown to me (Shig, Mario, Rader, DT, Haburn come to my mind). Restrictions for the gyutos: I feel comfortable with around 55+ at the heel and no lasers, please. Let’s see what’s out there. Please pm me your offers and let me know if you have any questions.

225 Stephan Fowler western gyuto in 52100
I bought the knife in 2013 from the maker. Blade is very slightly convex ground. Handle is maple burl. Hight at the heel is 54mm, weight 219gr.. I’m asking 350€ (380U$) + shipping. Will split PayPal fees.

250 Bill Burke gyuto in 52100
I bought this knife from a forum member here in 2015. Handle is made of rosewood. Hight at the heel is 52mm, weight 240gr. On the blade, there is a very slight hamon line visible, which I was unable to catch in my own pictures but you might want to check the original offer at epicurean edge:

What is the steel of the Marko Chevron Damascus Gyuto, thanks

If the damascus Marko is still available next month then I'll be all over it.
I'm sure it'll be gone before then though.

It reacts like carbon steel and builds up a patina.

Bump.
Burke, Marko and Kagekiyo are still available.

No love for these around here? Thought some european knife fellows would chime in.
So let's try with some price adjustment but I'm also open to trade offers.

Burke 1450 USD
Marko AEB-L 500 USD
Kagekiyo 475 USD

Thanks for looking
Jürgen

I've mentioned some trade options in my inital post of this thread:

"As for trades: I’d like to try a 210 Deba, a 275-300 Takobiki or 240-270 gyutos from certain makers, yet unknown to me (Shig, Mario, Rader, DT, Haburn come to my mind). The above list of knivemakers is not meant as restriction. I'm pretty open to others. Just pm me for your offers.

has the Marko western handle ever been sharpened? if so how much sharpening and use has the knife seen?

It has been thinned behind the edge and sharpened on this occasion. Other than that it has seen very little use in home kitchen, only.

Kagekiyo is sold.
Marko and Burke are still available.

I'm the original owner of that Burke. The handle on that one is really striking, great wood. Bill makes an amazing knife, been lucky to own a few over the years. Whoever picks this up will be very happy.
