So I got myself one of them 210 petty knifes from Jon.
Picked up a konosuke white 2 with ebony handle.
Really looking forward to putting this into rotation, I think it'll be a very useful knife. Already cut a couple things at home and ooowweee

That's pretty.
I love the size of that thing. You can do so many quick tasks with that thing.
That's beautiful. I got the Gesshin Ginga 210mm petty... almost identical profile, though not as pretty (esp with the handle and obviously not a white steel). But I LOVE that size, shape knife. I was quite torn between it and the Konosuke HD... Congrats on the beautiful (and atypically beautiful handled) petty! I'm sure you'll just be more completely in love as you use it more.
Very nice! much envy here
Thanks, I'm stoked for sure. Such a thin and nimble knife.
I'll post some more pics once I get a patina goin'.
Nice knife!
I rode my bike to work almost all of this week, as a result I emptied most of my knife roll to cut weight from my backpack.
Of course on Sunday I found myself Portioning Tuna with my petty in the absence of my yanagiba (no gyuto either). It's a handy knife, especially when faced with weight constraints and the need to simplify ones kit. Glad I got this one.
