My old trusted 16"x22" mahogany board seems too have been warped after a transport from A to B during this cold winter. Could I hope for a recovery after a couple of weeks in stable temperature and humidity or should I add a washer or two under the rubber feet to keep it stable?

Hi Vils,

Terrific to see that one of my older boards is still in use and enjoyed.

About the warping, it isn't uncommon to see the wood do funny things after being moved to a new location. Allow it to acclimate for a week or so then oil and continue to use it. Remember to oil the underside occasionally.
