With the extended sale at korin, I was thinking about the mizuyama 6k stone. There aren't too many reviews about this stone and it seems like it isn't too popular. Any thoughts on this stone would be greatly appreciated :)
 
yes, I continue to use it even though a big piece broke off. I am happy with mine.
 
Thanks for the response Salty; do you use it as a finishing stone or as an intermediate one? btw, your youtube videos are awesome (well the ones in which you're clothed at least)
 
it's in the middle of a full blown sharpening but could easily be used as a finishing stone.
