Now here's a knife which just wont lie down and keeps popping back into mind

I own the 10" stainless Essentials which is a well executed knife, but lacks fun factor, as well as being a big knife. I also recently acquired an 8" Kramer Meiji which I like a lot. It's a knife I reach for along with a nakiri for most tasks now (home cooking)

I like the Kramer ethos. The handles are uber comfortable and the height suits too

After initially buying a few 240 long knives, the 8" Meiji has been a nice change, and I am liking this length. The 10" Kramer is a big knife for sure

Any experience or opinions appreciated

THanks

Kramer 8" Euroline chef knife is a fun knife. It has heft, but it has a very compact overall length. 52100 steel performs very well.

There were some reports when the Zwilling Kramer carbon line was first introduced years ago that users experienced shrinkage of the wood handle scales, causing poor fit with the tang and rivets, but probably they have a better handle on that issue now, I suspect.
