Ebay has some pretty good deals sometimes even on new blenders. I saw a 475 new for a little over $200 when I tried to do a price reality check on the groupon deal. That countdown timer really puts that psychological pressure on people to buy. I almost pulled the trigger but then I came to my senses when I realised deals can be had elsewhere and I preferred the knob and switch user interface of the Vitamix.
