Time to break up "the family"
I'm selling a couple of my Misono knives which have become redundant, I have some other projects coming up in the not too distant future so am looking to free up some funds. Here's a family photo from awhile ago (360mm dragon gyuto is off to get rehandled), I'll try to upload some current pictures by the end of this week too:
I only really use the honesuki, hankotsu, yo-deba and 180/300mm gyuto as I have a lot of other pettys and gyutos in this size I reach for. Now that I have my Toyama sujihiki I don't use really use the Misono suji either, likewise with the misono Parer.
All of these are left hand models which cost 15% more than what is listed at JCK for the right hand versions, so keep this in mind if comparing prices to what is listed on on JCK (http://www.japanesechefsknife.com/InformationForLeftHander.html). There is also no further shipping charge as this is included in the price (for Canada/CONUS), as well as the wooden saya (I've included the actual costs with sayas for reference).
They have only been touched up on a strop as needed, which wasn't often because I didn't use them that frequently. They have forced patina which helps prevent reactivity and gives them a cool dark appearance.
130mm Petty - (731.15 + 12 = $95.95)
240mm Gyuto with dragon engraving - (1531.15 + 22 = $197.95)
Both for $225USD including shipping within Canada/CONUS (elsewhere we can discuss), insurance, tracking, PayPal fees, etc.
I'd also consider giving up my 300mm sujihiki with dragon engraving and saya, as well as the 80mm Parer with saya if you're interested:
300mm Sujihiki with dragon engraving - $265USD (2281.15 + 26 = $290.20)
80mm Parer - $65USD (631.15 + 10 = $82.45)
I could offer a discount if knives are purchased together as it'd save on shipping. If something else not listed has caught your attention let me know and we can talk. I may also be listing my Takamura R2 Migaki (red handle) 210 gyuto and 150 petty (both with sayas) but that my be getting sold locally to a coworker.
If you are interested please send me a PM and we can go from there.
Thanks for looking.
