I was thinking (perhaps problems lies here), the Chinese 12k/15k stones - wouldn't they make decent nagura or slurry stones? Maybe even can be used to flatted stones post use?

Start with DMT's and maybe finish with them? Is it possible/effective?

:)

TIA

My opinion is that C12k stones, with or without slurry, are too hard and too slow for anything but razors.

you can give it a try, no way of knowing without trying.
I personally would not use it on a Jnat, because I think a Jnat slurry works differently and better, but still you will know if you like or not after giving it a try.

Thanks guys:)
I will definately try. Maybe it will work not to raise a slurry but to lap it. After a DMT, it will need something finer. awaiting my first JNS next week, so will try:)
