I believe stock Watanabe gyuotos >180 are iron clad.
 
Ah, that's cool. From reading other posts, I thought his standard was iron clad, but I probably misinterpreted.

We're there any modifications on this for lefties, other than handle?

Yeah-the handle has already turned off several potential buyers. Just wanted to mention that the handle is nothing more than a typical right handed d shape handle flipped. I can't adjust the handle myself. I've never tried to mess w handles and I'm certainly not going to experiment on a knife Im trying to sell. Bargain knife for anyone willing to flip the handle around or a lefty.
 
I'm not sure a flipped D handle would even be uncomfortable...
