    ebay knife

    Hi

What do you guys think of this knife, is it ebay rubbish or worth investigating as a sample wa knife at this price ?

Worst case is it likely to be a good knife to practice sharpeneing on ?

If I didn't mind throwing away $100, sure. It is odd that there is no maker info on it and specifically omits a pic of the marked side of the blade. Either the guy is a noob or he's hiding something. Actually, maybe those are kanji on the left side of the blade but I can't make them out (not that I can read Japanese either, lol).

I sent an email about a knife from this guy a while back. In response, I received nothing.
I'd hold off and see what Koki has cooking, if you want a new knife, at a good price.
