    Rosewood and Copper Damascus Gyuto 240mm.

    HHH Custom Knives Damascus Gyuto.

    This was the first time I have used copper on one of my knives.. I think I like it!!

    Specs.
    OAL: 352mm, 13 13/16"
    Blade: 239mm, 9 3/8"
    Heel height: 48.5mm,1.9"
    Spine above the heel: 2.5mm tapering to tip.
    Steel: 1095/15n20 high carbon damascus
    Handle: Damascus bolsters with Rosewood burl
    Spacers and pins: Copper
    Filework: thorn and vine

    I think the copper is a complimentary accent to the wood.
    I am really fond of copper that has been textured and develops a patina.

    BTW - Great Looking Knife, as usual.
