Hello,
I wonder if someone could help me identifying two single-grinded japanese knifes that I have.
The Usuba (red box) was gifted to my stepfather by colleagues when he left Japan. I think part of the inscription refers to him or his name ("Kurt Borg").
The Yanagiba (brown box) I bought myself in the only exclusive Japanese design store in Stockholm during the 1990s. It was not cheap, but I may also have been taken for a ride.
Does anyone know what brands they are?
