    BUTTONED-UP VEGETABLE CLEAVER

    hi

    something fun .... in fact i am sooooo happy

    a "small" cleaver , sanmai ( 145Sc and soft steel, water quenched) 190x70mm.
    handle and crazy saya made by Julio Garza of Mokuzo.

    The handle and saya look amazing, but the profile dosent look flat enough for my taste in nakiris.

    Bryan is the edge of the blade flat? By the photos it looks like there is a bit of a curve to it.

    no he's not flat.
    I wanted to make a knife between nakiri & chuka .
    less high than a chuka ( 70mm ) and not flat as a nakiri .
