Do you think you would be able to get your money back if you would pay with credit card?
 
You must have been unlucky. I misordered something from him and he refunded immediately. That was within the last 6 months!

I agree that, but I don´t know whats happening there. He should put the shop down if theres no time to make business. It doesn´t feel or look like fake-shop or something, but he never mailed or anything to me back when I was asking about my order. I hope the guy is fine..
 
Anyway, buying from the EU, I've always been very happy with Japanesechefsknife.com, and my local customs officers who never charged me with import tax, VAT, or handling costs.
