    Magnetic Knife Racks

I am constantly tweaking magnet types and configurations working on different designs.

All of my current knife racks are wall-hanging, I am working on a few prototypes for counter-top versions that I hope to share soon!

I use N52 Rare Earth Neodymium magnets in most cases except where less pull-force is needed for a specific reason.

All of these have a keyhole style mount, one on each end, for secure mounting to a wall or cabinet.

    Here are a few examples:

36" long Bocote cleaver rack for Upbeat Vintage:

12" Bocote rack (1 of these still available):

16" and 23" Mixed Species rack (1 of each still available):

    16" Solid Walnut:

16" Mixed Species and Solid Walnut:

    Thanks for looking!

Countertop magnetic knife rack made of Pennsylvania Curly Cherry. Pictures aren't great, the figure really doesn't show through.

    Nice
You may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful knife
You may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?

    Looks great!
What are the dimensions of that particular knife rack, and how many typical non-cleaver knives would it hold?

    Thanks!

I believe this one was about 12" if I remember correctly. Can make any size though.

Here is a picture from the customer that should give you a better perspective on size and knife capacity.

I use a slightly less powerful magnet than usual on these to balance the holding power versus ability to remove a knife without pulling the rack forward.
