So I was messing around in another forum looking at kitchen gadgets when I read this........ WARNING! could be traumatizing.
"Do you use the santoku for different things than the chef's knife? I've always sort of assumed they're roughly interchangeable (with the santoku being halfway between a chef's knife and a cleaver, of which I have both).":eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2:
