I just received a x-coarse dia-sharp plate today. I have used it to flatten my stones and I also tried to kill some of my german knifes with it :D

The dia-sharp seems like a pretty cool tool for sharpening so I hope someone here can give me a little further info on those:

Does anyone have a "full" set they use as their primary sharpening device? If so what grit's do you have and what do you concider a full set?

Not that I want to replace my Choseras - like them a lot - but I could imagine that dia-sharps would be good to have ... and use at work (rock solid metal that is not as fragile as stones).

Thanks

I have a set that is used on shop tool since they don't require flattening and I love them. I've never been tempted to kitchen knives on them, but now that you mention it, I might have to give it a go on some cheaper blades.
