Hello everybody,

My name is Jelle Hazenberg and I'm a full-time knifemaker. I'm originally from Holland but have been living in Ireland for the last 10 years.

I have to admit it's slightly daunting since I make mostly westerns style blades and this forum clearly seems to favor japanese knives. Anyway, I'd love to talk to some of you because there's clearly quite a few people here with a lot of experience.

I know there's a lot of j-knife bias here, but I think you'll find a lot of people excited about nice handmade kitchen cutlery from western makers too. A lot of people here into customs! Cheers!
