If anybody is interested in 52100, AEB-L, or A2 profiled and heat treated blanks , please contact me.

Priced at $.22 per mm on the edge. Any profile.

The main difference between custom and commercial HT, is that in custom HT steels are conditioned and brought to the optimum state to quench from, compared to an anneal state the steel is shipped from a mill. The whole process is more controlled, particularly the time between steps. A custom HT method is typically a multi-steps process, taking more than a day.

I also do a cryogenic treatment and multiple tempers on most steels.

Grinding bevels and distal taper post HT can be arranged.

Thanks,

Marko

Is this a one time offer, or something I can and should bookmark?

Planning to ever do CPM3V?

I can accommodate here and there a few blanks for folks who want to play with steel, but don't want to go through the hassle of ordering steel, sending steel for HT, etc. I don't plan on making a business out of it, just a side thing for what I do.

I would only feel comfortable heat treating steels I have experience with. CPM3V I have never considered for a kitchen knife, though I think I have some on hand.
