I might be selling a couple of knives in the near future. They still have that "factory edge", but have dulled.

In your opinion, is it better for me to sharpen them before selling or let them be and let the new owner put on their own edge?

What are you thinking about selling?

I'm in Guelph so I think I should get first dibs.

+1 on letting the buyer decide.

Hattorichop:

I have too many good paring knives, so I'm probably going to get rid of my Devin Thomas ladder-pattern damascus AEB-L parer with snakewood handle to begin with. Interested?

Thanks cnochef but I'm trying to weed out my smaller less used knives also.
I'm a carbon gyuto kinda guy!

I'm interested in any knives coming from Canada :)

Also I think for lots of people on this forum won't have problem sharpening the knives themselves.

Buyers choice always works tho!

I also agree that it should be buyer's choice. Too bad you're letting go of the DT, but I know you have other super choices in your knife kit Lyle ;)
