Nice ones.. i have a little difficulty with those because i can never say if they rock (crappy punchline)
I have my red narutaki and well other red ones i guess will also polish like mad and are on the softer side.

The first stone is less muddy than I thought it would be. Second one is classic red softy. Bottom one is still a mystery as I will only finish lapping it once I have sealed and reinforced it.

Well so the same way i choose my stones.. "i like this color" ;) works 95% all the time.
This is also interesting with all kinds of suitas. But the range is so big from yellow to blue to brown to white stuff.
 
Well, not to take over Otto's thread but I think he'll be ok with me adding my red beauty here!
