Hey all. I have had an old nakiri blade floating around here for years. My plan is to re-handle it (cuz having a handle at all would improve its usefulness by 1000%), but I would like to know exactly which maker I'm re-handling. Any help you can be would be most excellent and appreciated.

Never seen the top two characters. Or the way they are engraved it's very hard to decipher.
The third character is ma 馬 (horse).
The last two are just Bessaku 別作 (specially made)

Thanks for your help, Ken! If I come up with translations for the top two, I'll post them here for the good of all.

Looks like 瓢箪馬別作
