Hello! First post so apologies if I'm breaking any rules. Long time reader here and thought you may be able to help. I've got a single bevel petty (?) that my dad bought me from Japan a few years ago. I've been away, so only just got back and opened it up. He can't remember the make and I was wondering if anybody here might be able to help me identify what I've got. It cuts beautifully at the moment. Thank you for your help!

久里寿 doesn't mean anything together in Japanese. But it can be read KU RI SU.
If I had to bet on it I'd say that someone named Chris purchased this yanagiba and had the store
engrave his name in Kanji. No idea what brand knife it is. The box just says Japanese cooking knife,
which is quite common.
