I actually feel a little embarrased as the Shigefusa honesuki really shows that I had NO idea how to make a kasumi finish at that time :O The situation was later remedied by Greg.
 
But the article does make me shake my head once I started reading it. The person who wrote it had probably little to no idea about Japanese kitchen knives.
 
I Agree, when I saw the pic of your knives I thought it might be a well researched piece, unfortunately not.
