I rescued this old cleaver from my mom's kitchen a while backbefore she had a chance the throw it out. She had this carbon Wustof meat cleaver for many decades, sharpened a bunch of times by some dude in a sharpening truck.
The knife has sentimental value for me. Mom is cooking lighter, healthier fare these days. But when I was younger, she used the cleaver regularly, hacking chickens, pigs feet, oxtailsto cook up memorable meals.
Spine to tip is 7.25 inches.
QUESTION:
Based on the logo, design, etc.does anyone know what time period, steel, etc., this Wustof might have been from?
