    Looks like "inkline spalted maple" Stabilized I would assume. Got a bunch of that stuff coming.

    Good eye, Pierre. At least it didn't have any cracks when I sent it out The other one is Honduran rosewood burl, I think the tip was spalted maple burl.

    yep, 270 Miz. it's not heavy. i think it's going to work great on the knife.
