Hey all. I know that this has been answered a few times already, but I would like to know what is the full usage of fingerstones? Are they used for blending or for another purpose? Thanks again.
 
They are for producing a finish on a knife without the burden of storing/purchasing/caring for an entire stone. Plus they can be used to polish areas that are hard to reach on a stone.

I use them because I don't have the time and money to journey through natural stones and end up with ones I like. I get my knives absurdly sharp with synthetics, and get the unbeatable kasumi with fingerstones!
