Hello to all from London, Ontario! I'm a grad student who has no business owning Japanese knives, since I hardly have the time or money. Nonetheless, I find myself constantly tempted, and every year or two I give in and buy another. It remains to be seen whether this forum will sate or whet my appetite, but at least I'll have some fun finding out!
