I was quite sad today when I read that Antonio Carluccio passed away. Not that I knew him personally but I really liked the guy.
Just 2 months ago I bough like 10 of his cooking books. I jut wanted his book Pasta, but then found offers of other books just for a few cents.
I really like him in Two Greedy Italians together with Gennaro Contaldo. Great show and some seriously nice basic Italian food. For those who do not know this, he was the first boss of Jamie Oliver, not that this means anything special
This weekend I will prepare some mushroom dish after his recipe. He adored mushrooms, just like me. I hope I can still get Cepes!
