Finally signed up after stalking on and off for ages. I'm a home cook and knife enthusiast who enjoys durable, well-crafted and rustic/simplistic knifes. I have no need for flash with my cutlery and would spend more on good carbon steel than fancy polished damascus. I'll be posting a "in search of" knife recommendation soon.
