I was bidding on an old stock Aizu with black renge (187x61x36mm so a good size) on Yahoo Auctions and I placed a last minute bid. I bid 6000 yen and the guy or gal who won the auction bid 5750 yen. The page was fully loaded literally seconds after closing time. It probably would've been mine if my browser refreshed faster :( Stupid internet :(

Long time no Larry:) What's a sniping app?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auction_sniping
Check out, for example, https://www.myibidder.com/

Although I believe that sniping service [Myibidder] can only be used for eBay auctions -- which is where I normally buy -- there may well be other sniping services that will work elsewhere. https://buyee.jp/help/yahoo/guide/sniper-bid?lang=en But I'm not certain of that. (In which case I apologize for getting your hopes up.)

I've used ezsniper before as well, and it seems to work well. I almost always use it now (although I don't do that many auctions).

Thanks guys. Learn something new every day...and this could be rather useful.
