Dont remember how i find KKF , but i'm very glad to join in this community forum =)

I am cook in mid Russian town Nizhny Novgorod.
I'm interested in practice of sharpening and should learn a lot.

usually - 10-20 $ noname knifes...
Some guys use Tojiro, Shun, Henckels or knives from local blacksmiths..

Any cool Russian makers out there?

Russia has a strong smiths, but they do >>> hunting knives.

Know only one blacksmith , who makes the kithen knifes.
He has very high prices, long delays and non-standard shapes.

I take recomendation to start with the Japanese knifes.
and I really like it now. ^^

g7 , Tojiro 180 deba(aogami) , unknow jpns 150 petty(hss) , Watanabe 190 santoku(honyaki) and Henkels paring , santoku.
