Hi all

Looks like kitchen knife forums is a good place for me to learn from those more knowledgeable as I work my up the kitchen knife knowledge tree.

I’m pretty much self taught and after a couple of decades away from using my hands to create stuff am happily at it again.

Ottawa is beautiful.
Lived there for 6 years. University then some work, eventually work brings everybody to Toronto.

Check out knifewear, and do a cutting demo so you can try a bunch of stuff out to see what you like. Its an experience that not many get to do around here. $60cad you learn to cut properly and use a bunch of knives.

finejapanesekitchenknives is also out of ottawa, though its only a online shop. If you Message the guy you can meet up with him in Gatineau.
