Good Day. I have been making blades sharper since I was a wee lad; now I’m an old f*rt and still learning. I work on everything from cutlass to plane blades, and even a few ice skates in the distant past. Thank you for providing this forum. I hope to make meaningful contributions. Now I must go back to find that incredible thread about asymmetrical sharpening.

Where abouts in the W. Indies?
 
“The Nature Island” Dominica. Recently decimated by Hurricane Maria :(
 
I had some bay leaf and cinnamon leaf from Dominca. Fun to cook with. The bay was wild stuff!
