    Handle - Mortise and Tenon Construction Handle

    This is a very commonly asked question - how I make my handles, so I decided to take pictures to show it. It takes me about 6 hours to make a handle from start to finish.

    PS: The tenon is oval in shape, not round.

    Cool. The tenon seems like it would be tricky to match up...

    Huh? As for high tolerance, I think he means snug-fitting.

    No, actually I don't see it. Can you be more explicit? Maybe crop the pic to emphasize your perception?

    I still don't see it.
    And I have no problem with the killer weed from hell, as the DEA refers to it!

    I'd be interested in some details on how you fabricate the rectangular mortise for the tang.
