Is that a double-beveled deba? Never seen one of those before, was that a custom?

Yes double bevel, not a custom but not very often for sale - from what Jason told me.

I've seen a few of those on the site, but not often. I always wondered about the grind and edge geometry, thanks for the photos and video. It looks great!

Did carter change the handle for you or did you upgrade it yourself? I've got my eye on the other one left for sale.

@ eshua - Murray did the upgrade, nice work, quick turnaround approx. 3 days. The one left on his site is almost the same size as mine (0.1 sun shorter). It's a rather small sized when you first look at it ... but after a little while it seems just right - not to big / not to small.

@ Karlo - yes that rustic look is great.

So far the Carters I got have been solid performers. Now I just need to figure out which one to get next
