Ironwood is such a simple class act. You just can't go wrong. Spectacular handles once again Marko!

Hows your knives coming?
Knowing that it's almost done makes the waiting so much harder.
I had a setback. A ferrule on one of the handles (it happened to be the nicest one) cracked, and I have been trying to figure out as to why. There could be two possible reasons - tension in the horn due to a nipple being a hair too thick or a drop in moisture content that might have made horn dry and crack. I was leaning toward the former, but wanted to be dead sure that it is not the latter, before I mount the handles and send the knives out. So I kept handles in my apartment, where humidity is lower than in my workshop (I run dehumidifier most of the time there). I am pretty convinced it's the tension, so will mount the handles and have the knives ready to ship by Saturday.

Very nice, the handles really make the knife.
