    Strange BO

    Black Oak that is.
This is a Black Oak Bunion I just slabbed.
The coloring is a lot different than the usual stuff.

So you had to check it out?
You are a strange one El Pescador. (did I say that out loud?)

    Just teasing you.
I love this emoticon, forgive me if I overuse it.

It will be quite a while before this is dry.
Oak likes to move a lot during drying but I should be able to salvage some blocks.

I gave one of the furniture makers here the big one and I am going to block up the two smaller ones.

Looks like I scored access to two premium wood blocks today, I discovered several boxes of handle blanks yesterday that I had forgotten about - and I still want some of that To be honest, the more I look at it, the more I think about a nice small table rather than cutting it up.
