This a box elder burl & buffalo horn Wa.I rounded the edges at 600 and i normally do it at 1k so the handle does not look as crisp as i like.
 
Also the red in the box elder is not coming thru in the pics,at least on my laptop.
 
Spectacular! When you shape your handles are you using a belt sander or doing it all by hand? I have never done one, but am thinking of giving it a shot, regardless that is a beautiful handle.:thumbsup:

I need to make a blade for this one.Kaleb i use a cheapo craftsman 6 x 48 belt sander then go to a granite plate up to 2k,then buff.Give it a shot, it's very addictive so watch your wallet.
 
While it may not be as crisp as you like, it certainly look very comfortable, as well as beautiful!
 
Nice work and nice piece of wood. I round mine at 800 and find them more comfortable that way, don;t like them too crisp, so this is right up my alley.
