If you notice, there are literally thousands of hilarious reviews and some of you no doubt know this... I was surprised to find that this has been going on since 2007:

This is pretty hilarious too (obvious troll):

2.0 out of 5 stars Angle is wrong
I tried the banana slicer and found it unacceptable. As shown in the picture, the slices is curved from left to right. All of my bananas are bent the other way.

Knife, gun? If you want to know how to cut and eat a banana just watch a gorilla USE A TEASPOON - about 2:30 but worth watching before that as well....

Notice the perfect profile for cutting pizza AND for scooping up the slices! Nothing you could even imagine doing with a normal knife made out of steel.

HA ! I was going through this thread and I have a confession to make... OK I have one I got it for a small bread knife on line and it worked great. Went through baguettes like butter and was great on tomatoes if needed. It's dulled down a bit now and I have no intention on trying to sharpen it unless one day I need to torture myself. I did get it when Shun was still offering free sharpening but wasn't able to take advantage of it before they quit. It's retired now and only comes out when I'm working on a pineapple which I have to say it works great on.

And yes it does have my signature shunned tip that I seemed to put on all of them.
