    I'll give it a try again. The knife I tried it with was a Tojiro DP and I also had a real "icky" feeling about it. I will try with another knife slowly and see how it feels. I have been to a sharpening demo in town where the guy used a plate (don't know if atoma or dmt) to cut the bevel. He did it with really fast motions since I guess its all muscle memory to him. That might play a role in how it feels because when I tried it, I went super slow.

    awwww Missed by like an hour. That's what I get for putting off balancing my books until last night!!

    It's ok. I'll just have to console myself with my meager collection of knife related things...
