FS: 7.8 sun Carter HG funayuki

Selling my 7.8 sun Carter funy. Not sure exactly how long 7.8 sun is, but im pretty sure its around 9.5 in. I have included some pictures of it next to a konosuke 240mm gyuto and my Rader 10in gyuto for comparison. This knife cuts great, been an awesome knife for me. Just selling to free up some money for some new toys. The handle on this one is actually pretty nice. Good size and the f&f on it is quite good. The only flaws on this knife are scratches from thinning, you will see them in some of the newer pics i took. Asking $475 for this one. Comes in original box. Thanks for looking.

    7.8 sun converts to 236mm / 9.3".

Carter Cutlery has a handy conversion tool:

Agreed. A new one is $575 from Murray, plus shipping. I've got a 7.6 sun and it's a great performer.

The last batch that had a 7.8 sun HG went for around $630 with his new pricing. I am surprised myself, Carters usually get grabbed up pretty quick. Must be the scratches.....

The scratches can easily be removed by hand ...

Michael, it's even better in person. I just love it.
