    KKF Butcher Knife Set Prototypes

Just kidding! Dave is still working on those...but my set is done.

I got tired of waiting so I ordered my own, one from Michael Rader and one from Pierre Rodrigue and they both ended up being finished nearly at the same time. The Rader is the aforementioned 12" W2 hollow ground scimitar, and the Pierre is a 7.5" boning knife made of CPM 154.

Johnny you had me all excited to see Dave's butcher prototypes but I have to admit you did not disappoint. Beautiful blades and equally beautiful handles, which makes for two amazing examples of cutlery. For the excellent thread you have received the cooking egg smiley, congratulations!

Very nice. The patina on the W2 slicer is coming along great.
