For a home user. I have a family of 5 and occasionally cook for up to 20 people. I have seen a bunch of recipes and techniques useing pressure cookers. What size/brand/model do you recomend for a humble home cook?

Pierre, Being a man that appreciates quality consider looking into Kuhn Richon. I have their hotel-style 5 Liter Family Style Pressure Braiser. Its about $360. I've had the other more traditional deep pot style ones, but this shape if better for sauteing or browning prior to cooking. Its also almost silent and has probably a 6mm thick base for even heat distribution. It will allow more versatility too as you can PC large cuts of meat like pork buts, briskets but still big enought to crank out 3 liters of finised stock (shich is what mine gets use for mostly these days).
