I think I prefer the Japanese one. It seems there is quite some waste on the other tuna, which is shameful considering they are close to being extinct. (some species)
 
Europeans never really gave a crap.

Im also closer to the japanese option.

And yeah, its sad with the bluefin huh?
 
I was recently in the Tokyo fish market, where I got to see what was left of a tuna after they finished carving it. Honestly? Not much at all... in fact, a cat would have been hard pressed to find a decent meal in it! Even the eyeballs were being sold.
 
Neat! I've seen the Tsukiji market in Japan, but its fascinating to see how tuna is sold in other countries. Thanks for sharing. :)

Yea, the Japanese eats all of the tuna. I hear the eyeball is the best part, but being raised in America a little bit too squeamish to eat it...
