I just finished adding a dozen new matching sets of saya making wood to the web store.
This batch is some very nicely figured woods with flowing grain patterns that will look really good on a saya.
This link takes you to the Saya Wood section of the store.

These matching sets have been drum sanded to 80 grit making them flat and even thickness. In the photos you can barely see the figure. When you see them in person you are in for a pleasant surprise.

Well.......there was 12 sets, now there are 9 sets.

The wood I selected this time is all very nice, musical instrument grade wood.
I figured if someone was going to take the time to make a saya or spend the money to have one made, it would be nice to end up with something beautiful instead of plain looking.

Based on the set that I got, he isn't kidding when he says they will look better than in the pics!

Just got all Saya wood from Mark. That stuff is serious cool !!!
Many of them is enough for 2 Gyuos or 3 pettys

Thank you so much Mark !!
